Big Man On Campus

Dear Family and Friends,

As a relative or friend of a Zeta Tau Alpha woman at Indiana University, we ask for your help to aid in our fight against breast cancer by supporting our fall philanthropy, Big Man On Campus. Big Man On Campus (BMOC) is an annual all-male talent show held at the IU Auditorium featuring more than 20 men from various campus organizations. We are extremely excited about this year’s show, as we will be celebrating the 17th anniversary of Big Man On Campus!

In the past four years, Indiana University’s Zeta Tau Alpha has raised over $798,000 – making us the largest Greek-led philanthropic organization in the nation. Last year was monumental for our organization, as we hit a milestone and raised just over $223,000 for the first time ever.  As we continue to push ourselves to do everything we can to raise money for breast cancer awareness and education, we set our goals high in 2016.  As college-aged women, our goal is to see breast cancer eliminated in our lifetime.

Our efforts will go to support breast cancer awareness and education through the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation’s Think Pink program. This year we will designate a portion of the money raised funds for Dr. Hari Nakshatri of the IU Medical Center. Dr. Hari is testing “estrogen-like” chemicals found in many cosmetic products on a breast using 3D printer technology.  In addition, we will also fund the entirety of the NFL Crucial Catch Pink Ribbon Project, providing one million pink breast cancer ribbons to be distributed at 26 NFL games throughout the United States in the month of October.

We need your help!

The members of Zeta Tau Alpha invite you to support this wonderful cause in any way you can. The enclosed form provides the opportunity to make a monetary or in-kind donation. If you’d like to attend the show or purchase a t-shirt, please reach out to a member of ZTA. Tickets are $15 for IU students, $20 for non-IU students, and t-shirts start at $10. Tickets can also be purchased online at  You can also donate online through our website:

The theme of this year’s Big Man On Campus is “Just Cure It”. We will continue to spread awareness at our show as more than 20 men compete for the title of this year’s Big Man On Campus. The event begins at 7 P.M. on Friday, October 21st, 2016 at the IU Auditorium. You won’t want to miss out on this inspiring and fun-filled event! You can visit our website for more information on the event and our talented men, or contact us at! Thank you for your support and we hope to see you on October 21st as we work towards our goal of making PINK just a color again.

All the best,
