Teen Movie Night  

            Monday October 15, 5pm-7:30 location: comunity room    

spend an evening watching a movie1 snacks and soda will be provided. calll the bloomfield pubilc library to find out the movie that will be shown. grades 7-12 


Escape Room

            Tuesday October 18, 10pm-2:30pm(Free)         Location:Library Annex 

             Friday October 26, 4pm-8pm ($20 dinner package)

             Saturday October 27, 10am-2:30 (Free)

Try to escape the laboratory, at the bloomfield public library! october18th and 27 are free sessions, october 26th entertaiment package is $20, and comes with dinner, must make payment for reservation. times slots will be filled fist serve, time slots are limited toa 6 participants.


Book Talk 

            Date: Tuesday October 9, 2018 Time: 10:30am-12pm Location: Community room     

Book reading and signing of lying on the bed with a monkey on her head by local author Tonda Gainey at the Bloomfield public library.


Gathering of the Gamers

Date: Tuesday October 25, 2018 Time: 3:00pm-5:00pm Location: Community Room


Spend an afternoon playing your favorite games including board games, card games, and Wii games. Snacks and soda will be provided. Grades 7-12.


Kitchen Karate

            Date: Each Wednesday in October Time: 3:30-4:30pm Location: Community Room


Whip your cooking skills into shape! FREE cooking classes for students in grades 5-12. Come try out and learn a new recipe each week! Earn a stripe for each week you attend. Become a black belt in the kitchen.

Mini Comics

            Date: October 29-31 Location: Bloomfield Public Library – Main Branch


Stop in anytime October 29-31 to pick up a free mini-comic in celebration of Comic Fest 2018!


Area 10

Area 10 Agency on Aging is seeking individuals age 18 and above to support the Monroe and Owen County Adult Guardianship Program as volunteer advocates. 

Training is provided and a commitment of 6-10 hours per month is required. Apply now to join the next orientation and training group. Contact Area 10 Agency on Aging. 


Seekers of Serenity Nar-Anon Family Group

Affected by a Loved One’s Addiction?


Seekers of Serenity, the local Nar-Anon Family Group offers hope for relatives and friends of addicts, with their twelve-step program. Seekers of Serenity meets each Tuesday evening at 7:30pm at Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, upstairs in Room 224.
