MONDAY REVIEW
NBA
The Miami Heat lost to the Washington Wizards, 114-93. Miami’s loss gave the Pacers the number 1 seed for the Eastern Conference finals. The blue and gold wrap up the regular season tomorrow night in Orlando against the Magic. The NBA playoffs begin on Saturday, and the Pacers will face the #8 seed Atlanta Hawks in the first round.

IU Athletics
In the newest top-25 poll, the IU baseball team came in at #18 according to College Baseball Newspaper. The Hoosiers beat Morehead State in two of three games this past weekend, and are back in action tomorrow night against Western Kentucky.
TUESDAY PREVIEW
IU Football
The Indiana University football team will have their final spring practice this morning. This past Saturday, the Cream took down the Crimson team, 24-14. The team will return to full practice in the first few days of August.

NBA
Indiana Pacers 102, Oklahoma City Thunder 97
Lance Stephenson recorded his fifth triple double of the season as the Pacers picked up their 55th win of the season. The win pushed the Pacers past the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference standings. They can become the number one seed in the playoffs either with a win on Wednesday against Orlando, or a Miami loss in either of their last two games.

Morehead State 8 Indiana 7 (Baseball)
The Hoosiers were unable to pick up the series sweep as their nine-game winning streak came to an end. Scott Donley hit a ninth inning grand slam to bring Indiana within a run, but the tying run was left stranded on first as the comeback fell short.
Indiana 8 Penn State 7 (Softball)
Kassi Farmer delivered the game winning hit for Indiana in the bottom of the 8th inning to give the Hoosiers a walk-off win. This was Indiana’s 12th win of the season, and it ended Penn State’s six game winning streak.

Indiana 15 Gannon 3 (W Water Polo)
The #14 ranked Hoosiers clinched their second consecutive Western Division Title with two wins on Sunday. They have now earned an automatic spot in the CWPA Championship in two weeks.
Indiana 6 Penn State 1 (W Tennis)
The Women’s Tennis Team dominated on the court on Sunday. They finish up the regular season against Michigan next weekend in Bloomington.
Indiana 4 Penn State 2 (M Tennis)
Indiana 5 DePauw 2 (M Tennis)
On senior day the Men’s Tennis team picked up an upset win over #16 Penn State in the afternoon, and a comfortable 5-2 win over DePauw in the evening match.
Indiana: 1st place at NYX Hoosier Invitational (M Golf)
Indiana had a great final day and defeated Michigan by 12 strokes.
Golf
Bubba Watson won his 2nd career Green Jacket, finishing with a score of -8 for the weekend. It was Watson’s second victory in Augusta over the last three years. 20-year old Jordan Speith and Jonas Blixt tied for second…each three strokes back of Watson.

After the first round of the Masters, Bill Haas is the clubhouse leader at -4. Defending champion Adam Scott is in a three-way shot for second place…just one stroke behind.
NBA
Indiana Pacers get set for their biggest game of the regular season to this point. They take on the Miami Heat in South Beach at 7:30 PM, Indiana currently has a ½ game lead over the Heat for the number one seed in the EC Standings. Later this weekend the Pacers will also take on the Oklahoma City Thunder…that is Sunday afternoon from Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
IU Athletics
Women’s water polo senior Shae Fournier earned Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season, and her 19th conference award of her decorated career as a Hoosier. Indiana heads to Ann Arbor to compete in the second leg of the Western Division Round Robin.

NCAA Women’s Basketball
Connecticut 79, Notre Dame 58: The UConn Huskies joined their men’s basketball team as National Champions after cruising past the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The title is their 9th in school history, and sophomore Breanna Stewart was named the Most Outstanding Player for the second consecutive season.

Sam Travis (IU Baseball) was named Big Ten Player of the Week on Tuesday after hitting .462 this past weekend against Iowa. Travis hit his first two home runs of the season and also drove in four runs. This is Sam’s fifth Big Ten Player of the Week Award of his career, and his first of the season.
