PD & MIDDAY HOST

 

Due to changes in a family situation, Sound Management is on the hunt for our next Program Director and On-Air Host for Heritage CHR radio station U93.  Our stations in South Bend, IN include Top 40 U93 (WNDV), Classic Rock 97.7 (WYXX), and Throwback 102.3 (WYET).  We have the opportunity to win on a field even bigger than Notre Dame Stadium and would love to get to know how you can help us coach our team to the next level.  We will help you with the tools you need to compete.

  

If you have experience building on-air, working with talent, building out promotions and events, and helping make memorable radio by connecting with fans in the community, we’d love to hear from you.  Experience with G Selector, Audio Vault, and/or Wide Orbit is a plus.  Competitive salary, benefits, a team ready to win, and the tools to take you there are all a part of the package.  Please forward resume, aircheck (Top 40 or Hot AC preferred), samples of imaging you’ve produced or written, and programming philosophy to:

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
If you are looking for a career that allows you to create, exceed goals, and push you to AND beyond your potential, then working for B97 and Hoosier Country 105.1 is where you want to be!

As a full-time account executive, work with local businesses in helping them grow through broadcast radio and digital advertising opportunities.

In addition, working with B97 and Hoosier Country 105 allows the right candidate to be involved in some of the area's most popular local events throughout the year, such as Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, Taste of Bloomington, Little 500, as well as IU Sports!
 


INTERNSHIP

Time commitment: 10hours/wk (2 hours/day)
Class Credit: 2 credit hours
Our interns complete tasks and receive an education in small market radio. Tasks include, but are not limited to, assisting the business manager, marketing team, web staff, and production team in general operations of each individual unit. He/She will be responsible for clerical assistance, front office interations, working with Adobe Audition to produce :30/60 content to be aired, working with AudioVault to upload produced commercials and other programming elements. In addition, working on content for both stations' websites, as well as each stations' sopcial media platforms. 

Each fall semester, interns will also assist in game-day set up (and teardown) for IU Football tailgate events, the IU Homecoming Parade, Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, and live remote broadcasts with IU Athletics and other partners. 
Each spring semester, interns will also assist in our annual radiothons for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Bloomington, live remote broadcasts with IU Athletics and other partners, and raceday assistance for Little 500.
